For the production of Cognac Pierre Ferrand, “Ambre” is used grapes grown in the region, Grande Champagne. After fermentation, the resulting unfiltered wine is distilled on the lees. Exposure cognac lasts about 10 years and is held in old oak barrels. In 2009, the “Amber” has received a gold medal from the Beverage Tasting Institute.
