Sparkling wine “Ca Lumei” Prosecco Cuvee Prestige DOC, 2023

“Ca Lumei” Prosecco is an example of a classic light Italian wine made from the Glera grape variety. The main difference between Prosecco and French champagne is the approach to secondary fermentation. While sparkling wine fermentation using the champagne method takes place in a bottle and takes at least 1 year, in Italy this process takes much less time and special tanks are used. For example, Prosecco from the “Ca Lumei” line was fermented for only 2 months. The result is not as rich and strong as the French version, but a refreshing and light sparkling wine that will create a festive mood at any event.
