Wine Arnaldo Caprai, “Anima Umbra” Rosso, Umbria IGT, 2018

“Anima Umbra” Rosso – typical Umbrian red wine, which is composed of Sangiovese and Canaiolo. The grapes are harvested in the second week of September and refined methods of traditional winemaking. Fermentation of wine goes with a temperature of 25 C and lasts 10-15 days. Aged in oak barrels is 8 months and 3 months after bottling the wine is aged. Storage capacity – 3-5 years.

Corporal – an Italian family from the village of Montefalco in Umbria. Arnaldo corporal, textile businessman, bought the estate Val di Maggio in 1971 and began growing grapes Sagrantino, and his son – Marco Corporal – began to make wine, which now says all the world. Today the winery “Arnaldo Caprai” is a recognized manufacturer of high quality wines exclusively from grapes of Sagrantino, which is grown in the region of Montefalco for more than four years.
