Wine “Arnozan” Reserve des Chartrons Sauvignon Blanc, Bordeaux AOC, 2020

The wine brand “Arnozan” is named after a legendary figure – Xavier Arnozan (1852-1928), one of the most influential people in the history of Bordeaux. He was an outstanding doctor, assistant to the mayor, and was also awarded the Legion of Honor. Wines bearing his name have repeatedly received prestigious awards.

The grapes for the production of “Arnozan” Reserve des Chartrons Sauvignon Blanc are hand-picked and immediately sent to the winery, where they are de-stemmed and crushed. The resulting must is left for some time so that the juice absorbs the color and aroma from the grape skins. The must is then pressed, and the resulting juice is left to settle in a cool place so that it becomes clear. After this, alcoholic fermentation begins. Special yeasts convert the sugar in the juice into alcohol and carbon dioxide. To obtain a dry wine, all the sugar must be completely converted into alcohol. The young wine is left to mature in special containers so that it becomes more harmonious and reveals its potential.
