The vines grow in the squares, altitude ranging from 280 to 480 meters. Soil areas are very different in composition, but the same in the presence of gravel, which provides a good natural roots of vines drainage.
The winter of 2011 the amount of precipitation and temperature readings were within normal limits, not unlike the mid-season. The first spring month was warm and rainy, but the end of April to May and there was no precipitation at all. Heavy rain last between June and July, helped save a good supply of water and allowed the vines to develop even earlier than usual. Very hot and dry August and cool nights in September completed the process of ripening of the grapes in time.
