Red wine “Bronzone” Riserva, Morellino di Scansano DOCG is made from Sangiovese grapes grown in Morellino di Scansano on vineyards with sandy-calcareous soils at an altitude of 70-130 meters above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked. At the winery, the fruit undergoes maceration for 16 days and fermentation in steel tanks with strict temperature control of 27-29 C. The wine is aged for 14 months in small French oak barrels (40% of which are new) and several months in bottles after bottling. “Bronzone” has good storage potential – at least 10 years.
