Wine “Benegas” Estate Malbec, Mendoza, 2021

“Chacabuco” Chenin Dulce Natural is a white sweet wine from the Chenin Blanc grape variety, which is grown in the company’s vineyards in the Mendoza region. Local geoclimatic conditions: very cold winters, hot and dry summers, significant fluctuations in daily temperatures, well-drained soils, which are moistened by melt water from the Andes, make it possible to obtain grapes of the highest quality. Harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. Maceration and fermentation take place in steel vats at low temperatures. “Cold” modes are designed to ensure the most gentle and efficient extraction of the best varietal qualities. Alcoholic fermentation is forced to stop when the desired sugar level is reached, after which the wine is bottled. The wine is ideal as an aperitif, and will harmoniously complement the taste of cheeses, nuts, seafood, scallops and shrimp, it can also be used to make cocktails.

Chacabuco wines are created in Los Haroldos – one of the wineries of the Falasco family, which the current owner of the company, Jorge Falasco, named after his father and brother, thus showing the value of family ties.
