Wine Boschendal, “Sommelier Selection” Pinotage, 2018

Vintage 2015 was the best harvest. Boschendal, “Sommelier Selection” Pinotage is a red dry wine made from the classic grape variety of South Africa – Pinotage. After manual harvesting, the berries are sorted, separated from the crests, crushed. The fermentation process is carried out in open steel tanks. For the best extraction of tannins, the technique of regular repair and piracy is used. After fermentation, the grapes are pressed. 50% of the wort is aged in old barrels of French oak, 50% in steel tanks.

A rigid quality control system, distributed both to the company’s own wines and to suppliers, is certified according to international standards and has the necessary ISO accreditations, including in the field of environmental management. Also, DGB products are certified in the British Retail Consortium for food safety standards.
