As Robert Louis Stevenson put it, “wine is poetry in a bottle . “ The “Le Poesie” line is an elegant expression of the wine traditions of the Veneto region. Wines “Le Poetzie” are designed for both daily use and solemn events. On the labels of wines are quotes about the wine classics of Italian literature.
“Le Poetzie” Valpolicella is a red dry wine from the grape varieties of Corvinus, Rondinella and Molinara, which is grown in the hilly Valpolicella area, east of Verona, where lush vineyards alternate with medieval rocks. Fermentation and aging of wine are carried out in stainless steel tanks.
Co-operative Cantina di Soave , founded in 1898, is one of the most interesting wineries in Italy. Possessing 6000 hectares of vineyards, the company has a very rich past, developing at the same time in a modern innovative direction. Step by step the company managed to create a strong group of wineries with vineyards that go far beyond the original limits of the Soave region. Now in the production line of Cantina di Soave there is also wine from the hills of Valpolicella, and from the famous area of Bardolino. Following the tradition of growth and focusing on the peculiarities of the terroir, the company purposefully increased the quality of the native varieties of Veneto: Garganega, from which the Soave wine is produced; Corvinus, Rondinella and Molinara for Valpolicella, Bardolino, Amarone and Ripasso wines. The last pearl in the company’s rich necklace was the purchase of the Montecchia Crosara winery, which produces rare, autochthonous Durrella grapes.
His mission, Cantina di Soave, considers increasing the importance of the territory, testing new methods of farming and winemaking to promote the cultivation of autochthonous grape varieties east of Verona, and strengthening the production and distribution of high-quality wines.
