Chateau La Pointe, 2009 – luxury red wine with a rich aroma and a strong, balanced and harmonious taste with a long spicy finish.
The wine is made from a blend of grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are grown on gravel soils c admixture of pebbles. Extract of wine made in oak barrels, half of which – new, for 12 months. Wine is able to develop a sophisticated and elegant taste for 15-20 years.

Its name Chateau La Pointe received from a large plot with vines in the form of a triangle, which is located near the entrance to the estate. Chateau La Pointe is a magnificent residence with wonderful gardens and wonderful centuries-old trees. Unfortunately, almost lost data about its history. Known only to the fact that it was one of the first two estates in Pomerol entitled to call themselves “chateau” in 1868. Vineyard estate covers an area of 22 hectares and is today considered one of the largest in appellasone. In 2007, the Chteau changed owners.

Wine connoisseurs say that Chateau La Pointe always distinguished the production of quality wines, considered among the best in Bordeaux. However, management, striving for excellence, has decided to implement several projects to improve the quality of wines and the image of the Chteau, namely: an in-depth exploration of soil and subpochv, resulting in the improved drainage system 1/3 of the vineyard; was drawn up detailed new vineyard management program and carried out a complete reorganization of the premises. Also in 2008, the role of the consultant was invited world-renowned wine connoisseur Hubert de Bouar de Laforest.
For the past more than a hundred years of wine Chateau La Pointe consistently win many awards in international competitions and get decent ratings from wine critics.
