Burgundy Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2006 reveals a stunning wealth of bright, rich notes of ripe dark fruit and spice flavor and charmingly harmonious flavor. The wine has a very dense structure, which requires at least 10 years to fully express all their inherent complexity.
Vineyard Bon Mar Grand Cru area of 2.75 hectares is located in the two communes – Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. The name of “mares” comes from the word “marer”, translated means “cultivated with care.” Vines Pinot Noir, whose average age is 29 years old, grow on soils consisting mainly of marl and limestone. Favorable weather conditions in 2006 helped to gather a good harvest, which was born out of a very sensual, elegant wine with a promising future.
