Wine Fattoria Fibbiano, “Fonte Delle Donne”, Toscana IGT, 2021

Name of dry white wine “Fonte Delle Donne” (“Power Woman”) got its name from a source located in the vicinity of the town Terrichchiola that lies in the western part of Tuscany. Among the local population there is a perception that its water is beneficial for women, nursing infant milk.

Nice refreshing wine, soft taste that perfectly combines fruit and mineral notes, made from grapes grown in the region Toscana IGT. Vermentino berries harvested from young plants and vines autochthonous varieties Colomban are more than 70 years. Optimal ripeness usually reach in the second half of September. Crop is harvested by hand in the cool of the day. Grapes are carefully sorted and gently pressed. Cold fermentation process takes about 30 days, control flows at a constant temperature without contact with oxygen. Before the release of the wine is kept for several months in bottles in the cellar of the winery.
