Wine “FM” Pinot Grigio, Delle Venezie DOC, 2021

Pinot Grigio uses Pinot Grigio grapes grown on the best sites in the central zone of the island to create Pinot Grigio FM wine. Sicily is the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea and the southernmost region of Italy. For more than 2500 years, it has been an important center of Mediterranean viticulture, and to this day does not cease to amaze wine connoisseurs with a wide assortment. The invariably bright sun and moderate rainfall form the classic Mediterranean climate of Sicily, which completely eliminates the appearance of rot and mold on the berries. Also excellent ripening of grapes is facilitated by coastal breezes, which not only soften temperature changes, but also ventilate growing vineyards.
After the harvest, which is carried out after the berries have reached optimum ripeness, the fruits are subjected to traditional vinification, which takes place in stainless steel tanks. Before entering the market for several months the wine “rests” in bottles in the cellars of the winery.
