“Il Poggio dei Vigneti” – a line of table wines, showing excellent value for money. The production uses grapes harvested in different regions of Italy in order to fully express the potential and nature of a terroir.

“Il Poggio dei Vigneti” Sangiovese, Rubicone IGT – dry red wine from Sangiovese grapes, whose berries grow in vineyards in the Rubicon. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are subjected to traditional vinification for red wines. The wine goes well with meat dishes, game, spicy cheeses and pasta.

Natale Verga company was founded in 1895 by Enrico Verga and for four generations passed from father to son together with the family secrets of winemaking, rich experience and respect for traditions. Today, after a century of activity, the winery enjoys a very good reputation in the wine market. Today, the company is headed by Natale Verga, who runs it with the effective support of Giancarlo’s father and sisters Christina and Laura.

The modern factory is located in the city of Como in the province of Cermenate. It covers an area of 20 thousand square meters, the finished production volume is up to 25 000 hectoliters. Wine bottling is carried out using the latest technology. The company has two fully automated lines that provide productivity up to 10 thousand bottles per hour. Thanks to its own laboratory, which is equipped with advanced technologies, constant monitoring of wine production at all stages is guaranteed.
