Wine Lornano, “Etel” Rosato, Toscano IGT, 2020

Lornano, Rosso Toscano IGT – dry red wine, which was created in one of the largest wine-growing regions of Italy. The manufacturer took as a basis a blend of dark varieties Sangiovese and Merlot grown at an altitude of 300 m above sea level. The vineyards have a south and south-west orientation, due to which they receive an additional portion of sunlight. Vines on the plot grow with an average density of 5500 plants per hectare. Local soils are a mixture of limestone, sand and shale.

Vinification took place in thermally controlled stainless steel tanks. The process lasted 25-30 days at a temperature of 26 C, including prolonged maceration on the skin. Then the wine was aged in oak barrels for six months and the same number in bottles.
