Wine Mezzacorona, “Ventessa” Pinot Grigio, Vigneti delle Dolomiti, 2024

“Ventessa” Pinot Grigio, 2024 is an attractive white semi-dry wine, which is made without added sugar and is considered vegan. It has only 9% alcohol and 90 kilocalories per 147 ml (5 oz), which makes it an excellent option for quiet drinking, whether in the pleasant company of friends or alone. Thanks to the sunny days and cold nights in Vignetti delle Dolomiti, the wine retains its special aromas and acidity. Thanks to the wind in the vineyards, the ripening of the fruit is accelerated without increasing the sugar, which in turn gives a natural decrease in alcohol levels. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately crushed and undergo a short cold maceration. Next, the must is obtained by soft pressing, which is then fermented for 8 days. The wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel tanks.
