Wine Moletto, Merlot, Piave DOC

Moletto, Merlot – elegant red wine with the characteristic features of the international Merlot in the interpretation of the Moletto winery. The vines are cultivated in the vineyards in Motta di Livenza (Treviso) at an altitude of 9 meters above sea level. The soil of the vineyards is of floodplain origin and consists of natural clay and limestone. The plots have east and west exposure. The age of the vines ranges from 19 to 53 years. Vinification, which includes maceration on the skins for about 25 days at a temperature of 26-30 C, fermentation and malolactic fermentation, takes place in steel tanks. Then the wine is aged in steel containers for 24 months. Due to its structure and characteristics, Moletto, Merlot is prone to storage and will give a lot of pleasure over time. The wine goes well with hot meat dishes.
