Wine Niedrist, Weissburgunder “Berg”, Sudtirol DOC, 2020

Wine “Terlaner” Sauvignon is made from different clones of Sauvignon Blanc grown in different areas at an altitude of 450-500 meters above sea level. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks without secondary malolactic fermentation, the wine aging was carried out in the same vats. According to many wine lovers this is one of the best Italian Sauvignon.

A small winery Niedrist officially existed since 1870, but the sale of bottled wines and Ignaz Nidrist, inherited the family vineyards began in 1989. The farm produces only 25-30 thousand bottles of wine per year.
