Podere Monastero estate is located in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany, about 500 meters above sea level. It was founded in 2000, oenologist Alessandro Cellai, with the sole purpose to create two great wines – Campanaio and La Pineta. The total vineyard area of 3 hectares. Half of them took the grapes Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir), which is used for making wine La Pineta, and is considered one of the best varieties in the world, as the wines produced from it, are especially harmony and elegance.
