Wine Podere Sapaio, “Volpolo” Bolgheri DOC, 2021

“Volpolo” – second wine farm Podere Sapaio, located in the area of Bolgheri. This prestigious viticultural area is often compared with French Bordeaux, pointing to the high quality, elegant style and varietal composition of the produced wines here. Wine “Volpolo” is created from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wort is fermented under temperature control and undergoes malolactic fermentation. Exposure takes place in French oak barrels and large casks for 14 months. Wine “Volpolo” has a refined character, showing a steady rich flavor and slightly spicy bouquet.
