Wine “Riecine”, Toscana IGT, 2020, gift box

“Riecine”, Toscana IGT – beautifully structured, elegant, fresh wine with well integrated tannins. It is representative of the best wines that can be made from the Sangiovese. For the manufacture of a true terroir wine “Rechine” used grapes grown on marl soils in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, located in the province of Siena Tuscany. Within 35 days crushed grapes pass into neutral alcoholic fermentation tanks with natural yeast. Then the wine is about 2 years old matures on the lees in oak barrels previously used. From the 2010 harvest produced 5500 bottles of this wonderful wine that was bottled in May 2013 and went on sale to another 4 months aged in the cellars of the winery.

Rechine winery, located in the heart of Tuscany and takes its place among the best vineyards in Italy, continues to grow and gain a place in the market as a classic winery. The founders of the economy are Riecine Englishman John Dunkley – one of the respected producers of Chianti Classico, and his wife – Italian. In 1971 they purchased 1.5 hectares of land, restored the old villa and the revival of the vineyards. The first harvest was in 1973, and the first wine saw the world in 1975.

In 1996, an American couple Gary and Marlene Baumann bought a winery and today are its owners. Although since then much has changed, but the main products of the company and is the Chianti Classico, made on the basis of Sangiovese. The company’s goal Riecine simple – getting the best Sangiovese in the world using only manual labor and organic wine.
