Wine San Michele-Appiano, “Fallwind” Pinot Noir Riserva, Alto Adige DOC, 2020

Fine wine “Lahn” is created from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from old vines that give a small crop of the highest quality. His unforgettable bouquet with notes of honey, flowers and elderberry wine due precisely to the age of the vines, as well as characteristics of the soil of the vineyard “Lan” in the vicinity of Appiano, who presented the clay and limestone. The wine is made from selected grapes that are carefully hand picked and immediately transported to the winery where vinified in stainless steel vats at low temperatures. Thanks to the perfect balance of wine can develop within 4-5 years in the bottle, gaining even greater complexity and elegance.

Winery San Michele-Appiano was founded in 1907 and eventually became one of the largest and most successful wine houses of South Tyrol, and then Italy. Today Appiano wine are synonymous with the highest quality, which is a credit to the chief enologist economy – Hans Tertsera. It was he who every year brings new nuances in the formulation and methods of wine production, bringing them to perfection.
