Wine Siro Pacenti, “Pelagrilli” Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 2018

The wine is made from Sangiovese, grown on vineyards, located mainly on the northern side of Montalcino. The age of the vines is from 25 to 35 years. Depending on the vintage, grapes can be added to blend from younger vines (from 5 to 15 years). Vines are grown with absolute respect for the land, and all works in the vineyard are made by hand. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and aging is carried out in 225-liter French oak barrels for 24 months and in bottles after bottling. The wine is not filtered before bottling. A natural sediment, which can sometimes be formed in bottles, is a proof of the philosophy of winemaking Siro Pacenti. Before serving, the manufacturer recommends decanting. The peak of the maturity of the vintage in 2012 will be 2020-2027.
