Siro Pacenti, Rosso di Montalcino is a well-structured, powerful, fresh wine with the aromas characteristic of the Montalcino terroir. Wine is made from Sangiovese grape, harvested from 15-25-year-old vines, which are grown on the principle of sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals. All works on the vineyard, including harvesting, are made by hand. Also, the berries are manually sorted by special tables before and after separation from the ridges. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After that, the wine is aged for 12 months in 225-liter barrels of French oak, and then in bottles. Before bottling wine is not filtered. A natural sediment, which can sometimes be formed in bottles, is a proof of the philosophy of winemaking Siro Pacenti. Before serving, the manufacturer recommends decanting.
