Wine Tommasi, Valpolicella DOC, 2023

Delicate, elegant wine from the company Tommasi Valpolicella according to traditional recipes made from three grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Due to the fact that the vines are grown on chalk and limestone soils of the region Valpolicella wine has a unique taste and aroma, by which it can be easily distinguished from other Italian wines. For wine grapes are harvested manually during the first half of October, is separated from the ridges and choking is fermented in steel containers for 7 days at a temperature of 25-31 C. Then the wine is aged 4 months in barrels made of stainless steel. Special piquancy and full flavor adds a two-month aging in barrels of Slavonian oak.

Family group Tomazzi Vitikoltori was founded in 1902, when Giacomo Tommasi purchased his first vineyard. Over a century of history from a small family business company has evolved into a major producer, owns 135 acres of excellent land in the best wine region of Italy – Veneto. In 2001 the company won the title Tommasi “The best wine house Italy.”
