Val di Suga, Brunello di Montalcino, 2008 – red wine from the estate of the Val di Suga, located in Montalcino. Grapes Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) to create a wine grown on three different sites with individual geo-climatic conditions. The combination of the harvest with three terroirs to create a wine with a unique balance between freshness, texture, body and elegance. The first step takes place in fermentation Sangiovese steel tanks for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of 30 C. Fermentation ends in 50 gektolitrovyh barrels of Slavonian oak. After 36 months of maturation in 300-liter French oak barrels the wine is bottled and aged for at least 12 months.
Agriculture Val de Suga, part of the group Tenimenti Angelini, covers an area of 120 hectares, of which fifty are given under vines. The vineyards are located on the opposite side of the hill of Montalcino and capture three exhibitions: the north-eastern (mostly – around the estate), southwest (in the vicinity of Sant’Angelo in Colle) and south-east (near the beautiful monastery of St. Antimo) dominated by vineyards later planting. Ability to use the fruits of three different zones allows Tenimenti Angelini produce very balanced, harmonious, long-lasting wines.
